AFC Telford snap up striker Andre Brown from league rivals
AFC Telford United have bolstered their frontline with the signing of Andre Brown from Kidderminster Harriers.
Brown was offered fresh terms by National League North rivals Harriers but opted for the Bucks in a bid for more game time.
The 22-year-old scored eight league goals last season – one of those coming as Telford lost 2-0 at Aggborough on January 1.
He is a product of Crewe Alexandra's youth set-up and has also played for Worcester City and Rushall Olympic, where he enjoyed a stunning five-goal debut.
Boss Gavin Cowan said: “Andre is a player I have admired for some time now and I am thrilled to have been able to sign him.
"It was important we moved quickly as he is highly regarded, to have him on board is very rewarding.
"Andre will bring goals and athleticism, which will complement the way I want us to play.”
Brown is one of three strikers of the Bucks' books, along with Amari Morgan-Smith and Daniel Udoh.
