The 23-year-old joins the Bucks following a stellar season at Market Drayton Town.

He has also played for Ellesmere Rangers and Stafford Rangers.

Boss Gavin Cowan said: "Jud is a player who was recommended to us from a trusted colleague who was adamant we needed to give the lad an opportunity.

"Jud has played well below his capabilities over the last few seasons and has somehow slipped through the net.

"I believe he has the mentality, belief and ability to push for a place in our team and it's something he fully deserves following pre-season.

"He’s local and that’s important to me as he has the attachment already, so I look forward to seeing him take his opportunity."

Ellis is one of several trialists Telford have taken a look at over the summer, and the first to be awarded terms at the New Bucks Head.

Former Wrexham goalkeeper Callum Burton, ex-Thomas Telford student Tyler Lyttle and Ellis's former Drayton team-mate Joe Cuff were on trial with the Bucks but not offered deals.

Ellis added: "I am delighted to join such a massive club as Telford, it’s my local club and one that I have always had an affection with.

"I would like to thank Gav and all the staff for the opportunity and I can’t wait for the season to start."
