AFC Telford told delayed kit will arrive 'within days'
AFC Telford United have received confirmation their home kit will be ready for Tuesday's clash against Brackley Town at the New Bucks Head.
A blunder from manufacturers Hummel meant the Bucks had to wear their blue away strip for last weekend's home win against Southport.
Hummel and suppliers Fortis Sport have told the club the players will have the kit for Tuesday, but fans who pre-ordered the shirts online are still in the dark as to when theirs will arrive.
Telford's statement on Friday said: "AFC Telford United have this morning received confirmation from Hummel UK & Fortis Sport that the first team kit will be worn on Tuesday evening when we host Brackley Town.
"Unfortunately, at this time we have yet to receive a confirmed date on when the replica shirts and academy match shirts will arrive, but we hope to update supporters as early as next week.
"We would like to thank you for your patience and inform supporters the club are doing everything possible to resolve this situation as soon as possible."
Charlton Athletic, Forest Green Rovers and Weston Super Mare have also had the delivery of their Hummel strips delayed this summer.
