Bucks-Town relationship good for all
It is nice to see that the relationship between AFC Telford United and Shrewsbury Town is progressing well.
The Bucks have taken John McAtee on loan again and it’s a very good opportunity for him to play competitive football, for an in-form team.
The 19-year-old is going to be playing against men and gaining vital experience – none of that tippy-tappy youth football – and hopefully he will return to Salop as a better and stronger individual.
I am sure it will work for both sides.
Of course, Telford have had Daniel Udoh scoring goals left, right and centre – but you can never have enough firepower.
John scored against the Bucks while with Ashton earlier this month and is a very talented lad.
The link between the two sides is exciting.
Ryan Sears recently returned to Town after a really productive loan at Telford and John Askey will be hoping for a similar story with John.
