Steph Morley: AFC Telford's camaraderie is the best
Steph Morley believes this AFC Telford side is one of the most united he has been a part of.
Morley recently returned to action following several weeks out with a calf problem.
But the 31-year-old left-back insists the camaraderie in the squad helped keep him in good spirits while he was unable to play.
“I’ve played in lots of teams as I’m 31 now and in this team, there’s no bad eggs,” said Morley.
“It’s one of the strongest squads I’ve been in as well. We could field any 11 and it’s be strong. It’s good to have that competition.
“The team spirit is class. Everyone mixes together – there’s no cliques. Everyone feels involved, whether they’re in the starting 11, on the bench or even not in the squad. Sometimes you can have players sulking if they’re not playing but there’s none of that here.
“We all know we won’t play every minute of every game but we support each other.”
