“That’s what we’ve got a squad for. I’m lucky because all sort of 18 or 19 players can walk straight into the team.

“We’ll assess it and go from there.”

Cowan, by the sounds of it, will be sticking with the same formation at the Impact Arena.

He opted for a 3-5-2 for the 2-1 victory against York City last weekend and the Bulls draw, and said: “I think it worked really well.

“They did it superbly. I’m just really chuffed and very proud of the players.

“We’ve just got ourselves into a place now where the players are driving it – it’s not me having to energise it and drive it.

“The players are driving themselves and that was very pleasing to see on Tuesday night. They were very committed to the work that they were doing and we were very much on top for the whole night.”

Defender Zak Lilly is set to miss out again after going off with an injured hip against York.

Fellow stopper Theo Streete took a knock to his knee against Hereford but saw the game out and Cowan is confident he will be fine to feature.

“The thing is with Theo is that he’s all in,” he added.

“We know there’s no holding back, he doesn’t go in half-hearted. When he does something, he’s all in.

“When you do go all in and you slip, it’s going to hurt. That’s the type of player he is. He’s going to pick up the odd knock.”

Andrew Brown may start having come on in midweek.
