The 29-year-old feels Telford have made improvements in recent games and, with 12 National League North fixtures to play, stresses there is still time for Gavin Cowan’s men to launch a top seven quest.

“We’ve picked up a couple of important victories recently,” said Walker. “If you look at the table it’s so tight, whoever goes on a run now stands the best chance come the end of the season.

“Look at what has happened previous seasons and is happening again. But it’s as simple as we expect to win our home games whoever we are again. We won’t take it for granted or say it’s an easier game.

“If we want to go up, it’s paramount we win. The home form has picked up the last couple of games so hopefully they are pleased to see us.”

Curzon sit fourth-bottom in National North.
