AFC Telford United striker eyeing key ingredient in promotion push
AFC Telford United forward Reece Styche believes showing a consistent level of concentration is key to the Bucks' success.
The Bucks have conceded four goals in the first 10 minutes of games in the Southern Central Premier this season, one more than they suffered during the whole of the previous campaign.
And after rejoining the club earlier this month, Styche is hoping to use his experience to help the side rediscover their form of last season.
"If you look at the team from last year, it’s almost exactly the same apart from Fraser (Kerr) and Montel (Gibson),” he said.
“It’s almost identical, so we know what we can do.”Styche added:
“It’s basically the same squad that got 90 points last season, other than Montel, Jared (Hodgkiss) and Fraser.
“The starting XI nearly got us promoted, so it’s not a case of poor recruitment I don’t think.
“Montel is probably the only one we didn’t replace, but even then they brought in a striker who was playing National League football last season which at the time everyone was buzzing with.
“We just need to stay switched on, stay solid, stop conceding early and rediscover those consistent levels from last year, because we know we can do it.”
