Hednesford home record ended by Harrogate
Hednesford's perfect home record since the start of the season was brought to an end by a tenacious Harrogate Town side.
The Pitmen stumbled with top slot in the Skrill North table in their grasp, and their visitors must now harbour genuine belief of reaching the play-off places.
Hednesford, looking to make amends after Saturday's 5-1 humbling away at Gloucester City, started positively and took the lead after four minutes through loan signing Greg Pearson, who latched onto a pass from Elliott Durrell.
Pearson had two further chances in a lively first half performance and Neil Harvey misdirected his header wide on the stroke of half-time.
Within two minutes of the re-start Harrogate levelled through Liam Hardy as he pounced on a loose ball.
They went in front six minutes from the end when the Pitmen failed to clear a corner and Chris Hall swept the ball past Dan Crane.
As Hednesford tried to force an equaliser, Cleveland Taylor rolled in a third in the dying moments.
