Non-League Day: What is it?

Set for its eighth consecutive year, Non-League Day is set to go ahead on October 7th, but what is it?

What is Non-League Day?

Held each year during the international break, Non-League Day takes advantage of the lack of Premier League and Championship match action in an effort to boost notoriety of games that take place lower down in the football pyramid.

The date provides a platform for clubs to promote the importance of volunteer-led community football, while empowering fans to show support for their local Non-League side.

Partnering with Prostate Cancer UK (PCUK) in an effort to raise funds for, and awareness of, an illness that affects thousands of men in Britain every year, Non-League Day will also continue its annual link-up with Kick It Out (KIO), raising awareness of issues, promoting equality and challenging all aspects of discrimination at all levels of the game.
