Mark Wright calls for repeat of Shrewsbury Town home form

Shrewsbury Town's stunning unbeaten home run in League Two last season can help inspire the club to further success this year, winger Mark Wright believes.
The former Walsall midfielder said Town should aim to replicate the form that saw them go undefeated all season at Greenhous Meadow on their way to promotion.
But the 30-year old, who also counts Brighton & Hove Albion and Milton Keynes Dons among his previous employers, added that the team will only come close to repeating that feat if they maintain the work ethic and team spirit that it was built upon.
With several personnel changes to Graham Turner's squad during the summer, it could have been feared that the new-look side would take time to develop the same unity.
But Wright said he has been encouraged by the team's pre-season form – which included a fightback from 2-1 down to win 3-2 at Blue Square Bet North side Worcester City last Friday.
"We learned that we could see the game out because we were losing at one point so to come back, especially with the new lads involved, and win the game it seems like we have got that bit of spirit to dig in and dig deep," said Wright.
"Our home record as well from last season can see us through this season again.
"We just need to keep the form going and be hard to beat. Team spirit plays a big part and it looks like we have got that again this season. I just can't wait for it to kick off now."
Town open their season with a Capital One Cup clash at Leeds on Saturday before they take on League One heavyweights Sheffield United at Bramall Lane the following Saturday.
