Shrewsbury sold out for England under-21s
Shrewsbury Town will be sold out when the England under-21 team take on their San Marino counterparts in a UEFA European Championship qualifier.
The last remaining tickets were snapped up earlier today for tomorrow's clash at the Greenhous Meadow, which kicks off at 6pm. Fans are urged to arrive early.
Three stands were already full by the end of last week, with seats in the Pro-Vision CCTV Stand being quickly sold off over the weekend and this morning to confirm a sell-out.
Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner believes the club are forging a strong reputation with the Football Association as a good venue to stage their international fixtures.
He said: "It's a prestige thing. The tickets are now all sold, so there's going to be a good crowd. It's a testimony, because we have had the under-20s down here two seasons ago against France.
"I think the fact that we have got another game here indicates that the FA were more than happy with the way the operation went and how the club organised everything.
"We have gone from under-20 now to under-21 and I think that it's a real big boost now to have a game here ,with the sort of quality of players that we are going to see in the England set-up."
Further car parking spaces have been made available for supporters to purchase on the stadium site. Spaces are priced at £5 per car and are available over the phone or in person at the ticket office.
Passes are not valid for Town supporters who have car parking permits for the 2013-14 season. The Meole Brace park and ride site will be open, offering a park and walk service to the ground.
