The 17-year-old, who this week signed a two-year professional contract at the Greenhous Meadow, will be back in action on Monday and Wednesday for two international friendlies.
Burton already has two England Under 18s caps having made his debut against Hungary earlier this season before coming off the bench against Belgium earlier this month. England won both matches 4-0.
Burton was originally on the standby list for the Croatia games but has now been called into the squad and will meet up with his England team mates at St George's Park, the FA's national training centre at Burton, on Saturday.
