The 27-year-old was released earlier this month following Town's relegation from League One and Robins' boss Mark Yates has made him his second signing of the close season.

Hall took to Twitter to announce his delight at completing the deal, which will keep him at Whaddon Road until the summer of 2016.

He tweeted: "Thanks to everyone for all your messages. Buzzing to sign for Cheltenham!"
