Danny Coyne won't run for Shrewsbury Town job
Shrewsbury Town temporary manager Danny Coyne has pulled himself out of the race to take the Greenhous Meadow hotseat full-time.
The Welsh goalkeeping coach, 43, is taking training and will assess the fitness of the squad ahead of a daunting trip to high-fliers Bradford City.
The Bookies have Coyne as third-favourite for the position, behind Steve Cotterill and Kenny Jackett, but the former Tranmere shot-stopper insisted that managing was not for him.
"I'm just helping the club with the situation we're in at the minute," Coyne said.
"No, I'm not cut out to be a manager I don't think.
"It's one of those things, there's a lot more to it than people think, just picking the teams and going out.
"They've got to perform the way you tell them to perform, there's a lot that goes on.
"Being in the coaching side of it, as many years as I have, you get to see things like that - so no it's not something that I would be interested in."
