The 21-year-old joins Salop in a two-year deal after impressing during a short spell with the club last season.

And Paul Hurst believes that there could be more to come from the youngster following his deal.

"The reason I offered him a deal is because I wanted him to stay, it’s taken a little while to get it done but we’ve got there now and he’s signed a deal which will give him the platform to improve on what he did for us last season." Hurst said.

"The challenge is for him to develop further and the deal gives him that bit of comfort.

"I’m sure there is more to come from him and I’m looking forward to seeing it.

"Credit to him he took a little bit of risk to leave Boro but he came out and has ultimately earnt a deal.

"Now he has that comfort he is under an element of pressure but he has got a bit of time, hopefully the confidence and a manager who believes in him and we will see him improve and get some goals and he knows where his future lies now.

The former Middlesbrough man is now set to join Salop in their pre-season trip to Portugal, in which they'll face a gruelling training regime, and Hurst says that Morris can now prove himself, starting in the European trip.

"There are a lot of lads who have to go through a different process to begin with but ultimate lads in these development squads want to get into the first team." Hurst said.

"Bryn has got that opportunity at what is a good level and it is now kind of over to him now.

"He’s got to prove that he is worth that place in the team, some his performances were very good last season but there were a couple not so good.

"Consistency is going to be a big key for Bryn, as it pretty much is with all players, and to try and get in as many games as possible.

"He’s certainly got the talent, you don’t play for England at any level unless you’ve got the talent, I think he’s got a little bit of everything imp his game, his range of passing is very good, his finishing is good in training and he needs to translate that into games when it maters.

"He’s got a good engine, is a fit lad and he certainly showed that in the Southend game playing in a slightly different role.

"Now it’s just about trying to get into the team on a regular basis and showing the skill set he’s got come out."
