Olly Lancashire departs Shrewsbury Town by mutual consent
Central defender Olly Lancashire has departed Shrewsbury Town by mutual consent.
The former Rochdale skipper, who signed on a two-year deal last summer, didn't play any competitive football for Paul Hurst's Shrewsbury beyond January 2.
He featured 21 times for Town and joins Gary Deegan in departing the club this summer midway through his deal.
The 28-year-old is on the verge of joining Swindon Town on a free transfer.
Hurst is keen to ship more players out of the Meadow after telling a number of existing players they were not in his first-team plans.
