Mat Sadler is offering a diary from Shrewsbury Town's pre-season camp in Portugal - here's his latest extract.
First of all the fasted cardio work is tough, we’re getting more and more tired by the time it comes round each morning!
You’re seeing some real glum faces when you step into the reception hall.
Fortunately it was a little overcast and the conditions probably favoured us for running around in the afternoon because it wasn’t as warm as it has been.
The session was really tough, probably the most intense we’ve done so far.
We did little two-versus-two and three-versus-three sessions. Doigy did a bit of the session and he stood out! He’s still got a little bit.
In the game I played in, Junior played against me and scored five in about 30 seconds. I really respect and like Junior but I really wanted to boot him really high in the air at the time, everyone was cheering and dancing with him – I think he did a Klinsmann celebration as well.
I didn’t want to see him there for a little bit. Doigy held his own though while charging around, don’t worry about him!
And then Toto was leathering people!
But, jokes aside, it was an intense session and one we got a lot of.
