Shrewsbury Town cancel Dan James loan signing
Shrewsbury Town have cancelled the loan signing of Swansea City winger Dan James.
The 19-year-old, who joined on a season-long loan from the Premier League side, has failed to feature in any of Paul Hurst's competitive match day squads.
Winger James has already been called up to Welsh senior international level and arriving at Montgomery Waters Meadow with a lofty reputation.
He bagged both assists as Town beat Walsall behind closed doors last week.
But with his return to south Wales, Town are left with five loanees, the maximum available in a League One match day squad.
Three are from Norwich City, Ebou Adams, Carlton Morris and Ben Godfrey, while Dean Henderson, from Manchester United, and Wolves' Niall Ennis – who remains sidelined with a potentially long-term injury – are the others.
