Nigel Pearson appointed Oud-Heverlee Leuven boss
Nigel Pearson has been appointed manager of Belgian second division side Oud-Heverlee Leuven.
The former Shrewsbury Town player, who made over 150 appearances for Salop, has been seeking a new role in management since leaving Derby County.
He also worked with West Brom, acting as caretaker manager for a brief spell in 2006, following Bryan Robson's exit.
Praised for the work ahead of Leicester City's Premier League winning campaign, Pearson joins the European side as they sit fourth in the table, five points from the top spot.
The 54-year-old has no prior experience playing or managing in Europe.
