Paul Hurst nominated for League One manager of the month for December
Shrewsbury's continued surprise push for promotion has seen Paul Hurst again nominated for the League One Manager of the Month award.
Hurst is in contention for the December prize after keeping Town in the automatic promotion places.
Defeats in November to Bury and Bradford was the first stutter in an impressive campaign.
But Hurst's men rallied back in December with 11 points from five league games, as well as victories in the FA Cup and Checkatrade Trophy.
The shortlist also contains Portsmouth manager Kenny Jackett, Plymouth Argyle chief Derek Adams and Rotherham boss Paul Warne.
Hurst won his first Football League Manager of the Month prize earlier this season.
He picked up the September award after he guided his side to six wins from seven League One games.
