Boss Paul Hurst warns Shrewsbury Town of Plymouth Argyle form

Boss Paul Hurst has warned that in-form Plymouth will not come to Town's Montgomery Waters Meadow fortress with any fear.

Shrewsbury boast the joint-best home record in the division, having played two and three games fewer on home soil than Wigan and Rotherham, who have also taken 32 points.

But Derek Adams' Pilgrims are currently matching Hurst's high-fliers for form and both sides have taken 13 points from their last six games. Argyle have lost just once in the league – against leaders Wigan – since December 2.

"I don't know what the odds would be," Hurst said. "We've been good at home and are high up the table.

"But they're right up there in terms of form. In the last six games we've both picked up the same amount of points.

"You expect a really tight game. One of our old players in Sarc (Antoni Sarcevic) said recently that they're not fearing anyone.

"I can understand why when you look at that sort of form."

While Town's home form has secured 10 wins from 13 in the league this season, Hurst argued that it counts for little moving forward.

Shrews play 10 of their remaining 17 games in the league at the Meadow.

"Our home record has been fantastic, even last season we had a good record," he added. "I'd love for that to continue between now and the end of the season, starting tomorrow.

"We have more home games left but winning them is far from a formality. What's been has gone and it's all about the future.

"Every time you step out you have to earn the right and put on a performance to try and keep the record going.

"We're proud of what we've done at home but it is the past now and we have to look to the future."
