Mat Sadler: Real Shrewsbury Town will be at Bradford
Mat Sadler has promised fans they will see the real Shrewsbury when they travel to take on Bradford.
Town head to Valley Parade on Thursday determined to bounce back from their disappointing Checkatrade Trophy final defeat to Lincoln.
Shrewsbury’s players failed to hit the standards they have set for themselves this season in the Wembley showpiece.
But with automatic promotion still up for grabs, Sadler vowed the players will respond in the right way.
“We have put ourselves in a position to do something really special this season,” the club captain said.
“We were disappointed with Wembley. We were up for two trophies and the first one we haven’t won.
“But we are going to refocus and come back and show the real Shrewsbury Town at Bradford on Thursday.
“With six games to go we have got a big, big, big chance of achieving something special.
“We have given our fans some great times this season. But now are focus is to give them even more.”
