Shrewsbury Town midfielder Jon Nolan in the running for PFA award
Shrewsbury Town midfielder Jon Nolan has been nominated for the PFA fans' player of the year award for League One.
The 26-year-old joined Salop at the start of the season from Chesterfield and has been key in the club's trip to the League One play-off final, which takes place Sunday.
Bagging 10 goals and registering seven assists in 54 total appearances this season, Nolan was recognised at the club's end of season awards too - claiming the player of the season and players' player of the season honours.
He joins Blackburn Rovers duo Bradley Dack and Charlie Mulgrew, Peterborough's Jack Marriott, and Wigan pair Nick Powell and Christian Walton in the running for the PFA award.
