Today's visit of Bradford City in Salop's League One opener saw the launch of Town’s exiting new-look pioneering development.

Shrewsbury Town CEO Brian Caldwell even assisted with the launch by taking his place in the historic new area for the club's opening day fixture.

A total of £65,000 – partly boosted by club funds – was raised as Town gained national and global attention in crowd-funding the venture.

Installed over the summer, fans were given their first chance to take a look at the area, and experience the increased atmosphere to come along with it.

Spaces in the south stand rail seating are open to any supporters as fans are able to pick and chose the games they wish to stand as Town’s 12th man.
