Shrewsbury loan Doug Loft to Dagenham & Redbridge
Shrewsbury midfielder Doug Loft has joined National League outfit Dagenham & Redbridge on loan until the end of the season.
Loft, 32, becomes the ninth player to leave Montgomery Waters Meadow in January after playing 66 minutes of football for Town since his summer arrival.
The former Port Vale captain had not been in a League One matchday squad since the 3-2 defeat at Luton on August 25.
He has secured a loan south, where his family are still based, nearer to former club Colchester.
He made five Town appearances in total, four in the Checkatrade Trophy, including the winner in the knockout round clash against Walsall.
Meanwhile, former Town winger Arthur Gnahoua – who was released last week – has joined League Two side Carlisle United.
