Town fans will welcome Meadow price freeze
Shrewsbury have announced a season ticket price freeze for the 2019/20 season.
Early-bird adult season tickets can be purchased until April 14.
Category A early-bird season tickets for adults – blocks one, two and 16 – are £370, with Category B £310.
Season tickets for under-12s are still free.
“We put a small increase in last year, which was minimal, so we have continued the pricing structure from last season,” chief executive Brian Caldwell told shrewsburytown.com
“We feel they are once again good value for money and hopefully the fans feel that and will back their club once again.
“By buying early you are saving a lot of money and getting a number of games free.
“The season ticket will also guarantee your own seat for those big cup games when they roll around.
“Last year we extended the early bird period to the middle of April and that has gone down well – it makes more sense.
“We listened to feedback and went with the option that was the best approach for everybody. Hopefully, people will get the early bird, back the club and take advantage of the savings that are there.”
On the free under-12s scheme, Caldwell added: “Hopefully, we can continue that push and bring in more young Town fans, as they are the bloodline of this club. We are seeing a lot more younger fans coming along.”
