The pair were instrumental, along with the Supporters' Parliament, in the campaign to set up a safe standing section at Montgomery Waters Meadow.

Supporters from Brentford and Northampton Town have also been shortlisted.

The overall winner will be announced at a star-studded event at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane on April 7.

Town chief executive Brian Caldwell believes the award is fully deserved.

He said: "It is superb news that Roger and Mike have been recognised for their achievements to being safe standing to English and Welsh clubs.

“They worked tirelessly on this project with the Supporters' Parliament and the club and it has been great to see the safe standing area up and running this season.

“It is great that the EFL have recognised this work and the impact it will have on all EFL clubs in the future.

“Roger and Mike working with the Supporters' Parliament and the club has been a real positive and there are many achievements that have been made which have helped to bring the club and its supporters closer together.”
