Shrewsbury strikers Dan Udoh and Ryan Bowman backed to reunite after earning contract extensions

Andy Cooke is hoping Shrewsbury Town forwards Dan Udoh and Ryan Bowman can reunite and be successful again next season.

Last week Salop announced that Udoh and Bowman both had options in their contracts taken up by the club with them set to be in Shropshire for another year.

Udoh barely played a minute last campaign after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament back in August against Bristol Rovers and Bowman played second fiddle behind Christian Saydee.

But Cooke says the pair have played well together in the past and with Udoh nearing a return they could do well once again.

“Dan Udoh is a no-brainer,” when asked for his thoughts on resigning the forward.
