Micky Moore: Permanent Shrewsbury signings soon
Micky Moore expects Shrewsbury Town to have made permanent signings by the time they play their first pre-season game.
Salop have announced Matt Taylor as their new head coach after a lengthy recruitment process at the Croud Meadow and now all attention has turned to getting some players on board.
Shrews currently have a squad of 11 senior players plus four first-year pros, and they are hard at work trying to bring in reinforcements with Moore confident there will be some permanent additions by July, 15 when they take on West Brom in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
“I would like to think fairly soon,” the director of football said, when fans asked when they can expect additions.
“The plates we have been spinning; we will get them over the line.
