Shrewsbury's Morgan Feeney is feeling at home straight away
The Shrewsbury Town coaching staff have started implementing their ideas in pre-season – with the team being encouraged to express themselves with the ball.
Salop have a new head coach in Matt Taylor, and he has recently appointed Marcus Bignot as his assistant ahead of the new campaign.
The pair have got to work on the training ground this week as the players returned from their summer break on Sunday and they have been trying to implement their ideas to the Town players.
Morgan Feeney, who is a new arrival at the club following his switch from Cumbria after his contract at Carlisle United came to an end, said Town have been working on understanding what Taylor wants from them already in training.
He said: “We have been working on stuff when we have the ball, in between the hard running.
