Shrewsbury keeping tabs on Kiwi duo
Shrewsbury Town are monitoring New Zealand duo Nando Pijanker and Max Mata from Sligo Rovers.
Mata, who is a 22-year-old striker from Auckland, scored 11 goals in 23 matches last season in the Irish Premier League and is understood to be highly thought of by Town.
Pijanker was born in the Netherlands before emigrating to New Zealand at a young age and he is a central defender.
The 24-year-old made 31 appearances for Sligo when he originally signed on loan in 2022, before making the switch permanently this year – he is also well thought of by Salop.
