It was the keeper’s 100th Town appearance and he did make a smart stop to deny Ben Williams, but he presented Rob Street with a chance when he parried Liam Sercombe’s effort.

Morgan Feeney
One of many excellent debuts. Feeney played, as expected, on the right side of the back three and looked very comfortable in doing so.

Tom Flanagan
A different role for the defender with no Chey Dunkley, and he was composed in the middle of the back three – it was a superb showing.

Carl Winchester
He played in midfield all last season but found himself at wing-back as he has done in pre-season. He took to it well and got forward.
