Matt Taylor rues Shrewsbury missed chances
Shrewsbury Town boss Matt Taylor was left frustrated with missed chances after his side’s 1-0 defeat to Lincoln City at Croud Meadow.
Ethan Hamilton’s 79th-minute strike gave the Imps victory after Town failed to clear the ball in their own box.
The defeat is Shrewsbury’s fifth game in 15 days after the season began and their first home loss of the new term, and manager Matt Taylor was disappointed after the game to not come away with more.
He said: “It's a disappointing result.
“I thought our first-half performance was good, but we weren’t ruthless enough.
“When you’re on top in this league, as in any league, you’ve got to score.
