Marko Marosi urged to find Shrewsbury form
Matt Taylor says Shrewsbury Town keeper Marko Marosi needs to get back to being consistent after making a couple of mistakes against Oxford United.
Salop’s number one has been excellent for the club since he arrived from Coventry in the summer of 2021, and he kept 10 clean sheets last season.
But Tuesday’s defeat at Oxford United was not the keeper’s finest hour with two errors which proved costly for Taylor and Shrews.
He was at fault for the first goal when he spilt Greg Leigh’s high ball into the box – with the ball falling on a plate for Fin Stevens to smash home.
