Matt Taylor: Shrewsbury need a set-play threat
Set-pieces play a huge part in League One football – but it is an area Shrewsbury are yet to master this season.
Shrews were really good on set-plays last campaign, both offensively and defensively, but it is something they have not made the most of yet this term.
And Matt Taylor says his side do a lot of work on them on the training ground and it is about getting the delivery and the runs right.
“They are a massive part of the game in League One,” he said when asked about Town’s effectiveness from dead-ball scenarios.
“Without going into too much detail the team had some huge threats from set-plays last year.
