Shrewsbury patient on Jordan Shipley’s return
Jordan Shipley will not be returning ahead of schedule despite stepping up his recovery from a knee injury, according to Matt Taylor.
The Shrewsbury Town wing-back has been missing since the end of August after damaging his knee in the game against Fleetwood.
The initial diagnosis suggested Shipley was set to miss up to three months of the EFL season – which would rule him out until December.
But ahead of Shrews’ last two matches, Shipley has been spotted with the sports science staff running laps around the pitch which has led to questions about an early return, something the Town boss said was ‘unfortunately’ not the case.
