Shrewsbury must sort out travel problems
Shrewsbury Town need to be consistent away from home according to head coach Matt Taylor.
His side’s form in Shropshire has been good this season with four of their five League One victories coming at the Croud Meadow.
But life has been a little more difficult on the road with Shrews picking up just four points on their travels after a narrow win at Fleetwood and a point at Cambridge.
And Taylor says this is something they need to address.
“If you want to compete and you want to be successful you need to make sure that away from home you are consistent,” he said about Town’s form.
“At home, we have been producing performances, now we have got to do that and they need to reflect well in results away from home.”
Shrews’ three-game unbeaten run came to an abrupt halt on a wet night in Yorkshire after a 3-0 defeat at Barnsley.
