Tom Bayliss says things are ‘still clicking into place’ for him at Shrewsbury Town this season.

There was an awful lot of change at the club in the summer, with a new coaching structure and the midfielder, who signed from Preston last summer, picked up a nasty ankle injury which ruled him out for the closing stages of last season.

He has scored one goal this campaign, that was in the home win against Burton Albion. But, as with Shrewsbury in general, goals have been hard to come by and it is something Bayliss would like to address.

He said: “I have enjoyed it, I am learning and I feel like things are still clicking into place. For myself, obviously, I would like more goals and assists, but I think they are coming.

“I am in the right positions, and I feel I am performing at a level where at the moment I am getting back up to speed after my injury.
