Blackpool v Shrewsbury preview: Salop looking to take their home form to the seaside
A trip to Blackpool beckons for Shrewsbury Town as Matt Taylor’s men seek to correct their away form.
Shrews have been in decent form at home this season. They have won five out of their nine games there in the league and should be full of confidence having won 3-2 twice in Shropshire just this week.
But there has been a different story on the road, having played eight times. They have that solitary win against Fleetwood, one draw against Cambridge and have lost the other six.
They have been putting records to bed of late. They had been struggling for goals, but based on the last four games they are taking steps to rectify that, scoring nine in that short space of time.
They dismantled League Two Colchester, bagged a trio against bottom-of-the-table Reading and netted three superb goals against Walsall in midweek in the EFL Trophy.
