Paul Hurst outlines Shrewsbury Town's potential survival number
Paul Hurst believes 50 points could be the number Shrewsbury Town need for League One safety this season.
Town currently sit 18th in the League One table on 46 points with just for games remaining – they have a lead of six points over Burton Albion who currently occupy the final relegation place.
And when asked how many points he thinks his team will need this season to keep their place in the third tier of English football he said: “I think we talk about the 50 points mark.
“I think the other week I might have mentioned that in either seven or eight of the last seasons that was enough.
