The runaway champions have a terrific record at the Bangor University Stadium where they overcame Gap Connah’s Quay 3-0 two weeks ago to reach the Welsh Cup final for a fourth successive season.

That final, against Bala Town, will also be played at the same venue at the end of the month, before which Harrison will be hoping to keep up his fine record against the Citizens.

“Bangor have great facilities and a fantastic pitch. We always look forward to playing there, and I’ve never not won there, either in a league or a cup match,” he said.

“Fingers crossed, it will stay that way to the end of the season, but we are expecting a tough game tomorrow.

“Bangor have been a breath of fresh air. They have got some young and exciting players, who want to get the ball down and play football.”

It will be the sixth meeting between the sides this season and, despite the Citizens acquitting themselves well, they have lost the previous five – three in the league and also in the Nathaniel MG Cup and Welsh Cup. TNS will be close to full strength with defender Connell Rawlinson and winger Adrian Cieslewicz both back in contention.

The Saints are 25 points clear at the top of the table after their league win over Gap on Friday night, while they now have 95 league goals with just two games remaining.

“A lot has been made of us reaching 100 goals in the league, but that is irrelevant,” said Harrison.
