The New Saints draw with Rangers
The New Saints warmed up for their European qualifier with a 1-1 behind-closed-friendly draw against a strong Rangers side.
Saints tackled the Scottish giants at their training ground in preparation for tomorrow’s Champions League first qualifying round clash against Gibraltar side Europa FC at Park Hall.
A Rangers side including Niko Kranjcar and former Wolves man Kenny Miller went ahead early in the second period as Steve Saunders put through his own net but Alex Darlington quickly restored parity for the visitors.
Interim boss Scott Ruscoe is currently in charge as the club still search for Craig Harrison’s replacement.
