Jamie Mullan’s second goal of the season after just five minutes gave the Saints the perfect start in a positive opening at Park Hall last night, writes John Bridgwater.

Dominating possession, the defending champions could have added to their lead before the break but Druids keeper Michael Jones pulled off a couple of excellent saves to ensure his side stayed in the hunt.

Oswestry-based TNS duly tightened their grip in the second period with Greg Draper marking his first start of the season when notching a second goal inside the hour.

It was effectively game over midway through the half with Chris Seargeant adding a third goal from the penalty spot.

Right-back Simon Spender rounded off the scoring three minutes from time as the Saints reeled off their third straight win, all with clean sheets.
