Ahead of tonight’s trip to Caernarfon Town (7.45pm), it’s three wins out of three for Saints under Limbrick.

They have scored eight goals and are yet to concede during a run which has seen TNS return to the top of the JD Cymru Premier, above Connah’s Quay Nomads on goal difference, with seven matches now remaining.

Limbrick said: “I must say the players have really taken on board what myself and Chris Seargeant and all the staff have been working on really, so that credit deserves to be going to the players.

“We’re really pleased with their work ethic. They’ve really been working hard with training, with a good focus, and I think that’s down to them with that good start that I’ve had.

“But there’s a lot more games to come and a lot more hard work to come, so we’re really focused on the next few games.”

The target for Limbrick and his players is to hold on to top spot and to continue to lead the way.

“That’s the goal for us,” he said. “I think any time you take charge of a TNS side you want to try and win that league and you want to try and win every game.

“We’ve managed to do that so far in this split and we want to continue that. But we do know that every game provides a different challenge and the three games that we’ve had in this split so far have all been three totally different challenges.”

Saints, who beat Penybont 1-0 at Park Hall on Saturday, have already enjoyed two victories this season over sixth-placed Caernarfon, tonight’s opponents, most recently 4-1 in Oswestry earlier this month.
