Reports have suggested the £7m club record signing was set to quit the club because of a lack of games.
Fletcher has made just 10 Premier League starts since joining from Burnley, although he has made a further 14 substitute's appearances, scoring six goals.
But the 24-year-old said he has never wanted to leave Molineux as he prepares to line up against Stoke tonight at the Britannia Stadium.
He said: "I've never ever thought about leaving here and all I want to do is just prove myself with Wolves," said Fletcher.
"The club bought me for a lot of money so I want to repay that by doing what I was bought here to do which is score goals.
Manager Mick McCarthy has told the former Hibernian striker he has won a regular starting spot in the side and Fletcher added that Wolves' players are relishing the prospect of a battle against Stoke.
"We're a full-hearted team who go in for tackles - we're in a relegation fight so we're not going to back out of anything," said the Scot.
"We're going to give everything and hopefully that will see us safe."
