Wolves hotshot Steven Fletcher today insisted he is finally fully fit – and ready to repel Manchester United's Champions League backlash tomorrow.
Fletcher is in red-hot form after his brace in Sunday's 2-1 win against Sunderland, taking his tally to 11 in 18 league games and 15 in 22 Premier League starts for Wolves.
And the £7m club record signing is determined to continue his streak at Old Trafford.
"I've had a few niggling injuries since I've been here which is unusual for me because I haven't been a player to get injured before," said Fletcher.
"Hopefully I'm over it now because the one thing that kept coming back and niggling me – the cyst behind my right knee – has gone, so I'm feeling much better.
"I had an injection in it to take it away and since then, it's been fine.
"Before, I used to get pain even when I was fit and just walking around, but now I don't get any discomfort whatsoever.
"I also had a torn calf, but I think that stemmed from my right leg being a bit weaker than my left one.
"But it's back to normal now.
"So I just want to stay injury-free and get a run of games and carry on scoring goals."
United's shock exit from the Champions League after losing 2-1 to Basle in midweek stunned the football world and Fletcher is expecting Sir Alex Ferguson's side to come out with all guns blazing.
"It's unusual for them to not reach the last 16 of the Champions League so they'll probably be a bit annoyed about that," said the Scot.
"That will make it a tough test because they'll want to bounce back.
"But we won last weekend and we want to take that into tomorrow and win again.
We don't feel there's any pressure on us because no one expects us to get anything.
"We've been there before and given them a really stiff test so we're aiming to come away with a positive outcome.
"Our boys have all got the belief that we can get the right result there."
