Wolves chairman Steve Morgan today announced he was ploughing an extra £2 million into revamping Molineux as artist's impressions were released showing how a new hospitality suite will look.

The old terrace bar will return and an upmarket restaurant will be created under the plans which were revealed at Molineux today.

The news comes as it was also revealed the second phase of the stadium's redevelopment – rebuilding the Steve Bull stand – may not take place for another two to three years as the club juggles financial pressures.

Artist's impressions show diners at the new WV1 Bar and WV1 Restaurant will enjoy panoramic views of the pitch, while the supporters' bar, renamed the North Bank Bar, will be at ground level.

Mr Morgan today said he believed the new hospitality suite in the revamped Stan Cullis stand would bring Molineux in line with the 'best facilities in the world', as it emerged costs were up from £16m to £18m.

"We wanted to create a classy venue, with a traditional feel, which fits with the unique style and atmosphere of Wolves," he said.

Chief executive Jez Moxey revealed the decision over the Steve Bull stand would be made by the end of February, but vowed it was a case of 'when, not if' it would be built.

He said FA requirements to produce more home-grown players for Premier League squads had led to the £50m Compton Park training ground project, putting extra pressure on finances.
