Terry Connor would work with Mick again

Wolves boss Terry Connor today declared he would welcome the chance to work with Mick McCarthy again.

Connor's future will be decided after the last game at Wigan on May 13.

Chief executive Jez Moxey is keen to keep the long-serving 49-year-old at Molineux, but any longer-term appointment has to be balanced by a potential fans' backlash.

As and when McCarthy returns to work, he is likely to return for several staff, with his ex-first-team coach and assistant boss likely to be top of his list.

"I'd have no problems if he asked me to work with him again," said O'Connor.
