Wolves among the relegation favourites
Wolves are rank outsiders with the bookies to win promotion next season – with some even placing Kenny Jackett's team among the relegation favourites.
After a disappointing season for Jackett's side, bookmakers don't fancy their prospects of reaching the big time next year.
And their odds are far shorter to be relegated than promoted.
Of 21 teams in the list (ahead of the play-offs being completed) Wolves are as low as joint-18th at 33/1 to win the Championship title with some bookies.
Only Rotherham United and promoted Burton Albion are less fancied.
And in official Championship sponsor Sky Bet's relegation odds, Wolves are 9/2, behind Preston (4/1), Rotherham (9/4) and Burton (6/4).
The same bookmaker offers 8/1 for Wolves to be promoted by any means, joint-14th in the list.
Relegated Premier League sides Newcastle, Norwich and Villa are the early favourites for promotion in 2016/17.
It's a far cry from almost a year ago when Wolves were fourth favourites to be promoted ahead of the 2015/16 season.
